Pakistani volunteers honoured by Pakistan’s Consulate

    

Dubai(News Desk)::A team of Pakistani volunteers who helped and recused hundreds of people and dozens of vehicles during the recent rains in Dubai, United Arab Emirates were warmly welcomed by Mr. Hussain Muhammad, Consul General at the Consulate. The volunteers were honoured with certificates of appreciation by the Consul General in recognition of their unmatched services. Other officers and officials of the consulate were also present on the occasion.
“We are immensely proud of the Pakistani volunteers who demonstrated exceptional courage and compassion during the recent heavy rains in the UAE. Their selfless dedication to rescuing those in need reflects the true spirit of humanity”, said Consul General.
While acknowledging their efforts, the Consul General underscored that such acts of kindness and service to humanity have obviously positive impacts on others and encourage individuals to make such contributions in times of crisis. “We salute these volunteers for their unwavering commitment to serving others, and their actions serve as an inspiration to us all”, said the Consul General.
Members of the volunteer team included Mr. Tanvir Athar, Mr. Suleiman Tanvir, Mr. Shahid Ibrahim Gull, Mr. Muhammad Owais, Mr. Affan Tanvir and Mr. Alay Zaidi. “After our services in the recent rains, a number of volunteers have connected us and offered their services for any such efforts in future”, said Mr. Tanvir Athar.
The volunteers informed that they have also been rescuing people stuck in deserts and have developed a mobile application to receive requests for assistance.
