    Abu Dhabi(News Desk)::: Ferrari World Yas Island, Abu Dhabi hosted His Excellency Zhang Yiming, Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China to the UAE, for a memorable visit celebrating the Chinese New Year. The visit, which took place on January 26, was held in the presence of Mohamed Abdalla Al Zaabi, Group CEO of Miral, Faisal Al Nuaimi, General Manager of Ferrari World Abu Dhabi, and George Huang, CEO of SenseTime MEA, the official sponsor of this year’s festivities.
    During the visit, His Excellency experienced the rich traditional activations occurring at the award-
    winning theme park, including Ribbon Dancers, acrobatics, and a captivating performance by the
    Shandong Troupe, presented by the Chinese Culture Center. The event also featured a symbolic gift
    exchange between the ambassador and Miral representatives, reinforcing the cultural bond.

Zhang Yiming, Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China to the UAE, shared his appreciation, stating: “I am honored to visit Ferrari World Abu Dhabi once again, especially to celebrate the vibrant occasion of Chinese New Year.      Abu Dhabi(News Desk)::: SeaWorld® Yas Island, Abu Dhabi and the Yas SeaWorld Research & Rescue Center recently hosted Sheikh Ahmed bin Hamdan bin Mohammed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE Sailing and Rowing Federation, for an insightful tour of its facilities. From innovative marine research to boarding the world’s first certified aquarium submersible, the tour highlighted both facilities’ commitment to conservation, education and innovation.
    Sheikh Ahmed, accompanied by Mohamed Abdalla Al Zaabi, Miral Group CEO, and Capt. Saif Al Mheiri, Abu Dhabi Maritime CEO and AD Ports Group Chief Sustainability Officer, began his visit with a behind-the-scenes tour of the Yas SeaWorld Research & Rescue Center, where he was briefed on the ongoing efforts in marine animal care and rehabilitation operations. The Center’s marine scientists showcased key research and educational achievements, highlighting the facility’s key role in marine life conservation and sustainability efforts.
    Following the tour at the Center, Sheikh Ahmed headed to SeaWorld Abu Dhabi and embarked on the recently unveiled SeaSub experience at the Marine Life Theme Park’s Endless Ocean realm. The SeaSub is the world’s first certified submersible designed specifically for an aquarium setting and offers a unique underwater journey through one of the region’s largest multi-species marine aquariums, opening a window to the mysteries of the deep.
    The group then toured SeaWorld Abu Dhabi’s eight immersive realms, exploring the Marine Life Theme Park’s offerings including the interactive experiences, live performances and animal encounters.
    The tour with Capt. Al Mheiri was a demonstration of the budding partnership between the Yas SeaWorld Research & Rescue Center and AD Ports Group. In addition to the organisations’ recent efforts to expand collaboration on local marine research, AD Ports Group hosted the Yas SeaWorld Research & Rescue Center One Ocean Photo Contest at the November 2024 Abu Dhabi Maritime Awards (Marinas Edition) ceremony.

    AbuDhabi(News Desk)::His Excellency Major General Ahmed Saif bin Zaitoun Al Muhairi, Commander-in-Chief of Abu Dhabi Police, stressed that January 17th embodies an important date for the United Arab Emirates in its success in applying its proactive approach in facing challenges, protecting society, and achieving its vision of being a global leader in sustainable security and safety, in addition to the cohesion of its people, citizens and residents, and their solidarity and support with the wise leadership that has established feelings of unity, loyalty, solidarity, and chivalry.

    He added: The attacks committed by the terrorist Houthi militias in 2022 constituted a flagrant violation of international and humanitarian law, and a real threat to vital civilian facilities and energy supplies. The UAE’s chivalry was enough to overcome all of that thanks to the wisdom of its positions, the rallying of its people around its leadership, and the strength of its political, security, and economic capabilities. Its response was swift, decisive, and rational, and the militias and those behind them realized it. Immediately after the attack, which the state dealt with transparently, it reaped unprecedented international solidarity and support, widespread condemnation from countries and organizations, appreciation for its roles, and enhancement of its reputation, which was positively reflected in its sacrifices and roles in international forums.

    His Excellency pointed out the pride of the General Command of Abu Dhabi Police in the direction of the UAE and its pioneering success in combining security efficiency and proactive diplomacy in facing challenges, which has strengthened the country’s position as a regional leader capable of protecting its national security and contributing to achieving regional stability, noting that the Emirati chivalry towards the brother, neighbor and sibling is one of the Emirati political principles based on supporting brothers and defending their country in the face of any dangers that threaten them.

    Brigadier Mahmoud Yousef Al Balushi, Director of the Traffic and Security Patrols Directorate, stressed the keenness to sustain, continue and positively affect relations with our partners by providing opportunities to create new ideas, creativity and innovation, and strengthening trust, which is the main building block for successful and long-term partnership relations, enhancing transparency and alignment between goals and interests, and celebrating joint successes, pointing out the importance of the role of institutions, bodies and entities in cooperating with Abu Dhabi Police in spreading traffic awareness among segments of society and enhancing their traffic sense of the importance of adhering to traffic laws and regulations.

     AbuDhabi(News Desk)::The Traffic and Security Patrols Directorate of Abu Dhabi Police issued 670 violations for throwing “spray waste on the roads” by drivers, passengers and pedestrians who did not adhere to the guidelines for the 53rd Union Day celebrations in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi.

    called for the need to be aware of the importance of preserving the bright civilized appearance of the  Emirate of Abu Dhabi by avoiding throwing waste from vehicles on the road while driving, which is subject to Article 71 of the Traffic Law, and the violation is a fine of 1,000 dirhams, and 6 traffic points are recorded for drivers who cause this violation.Police stressed the keenness to continue its efforts to educate drivers and road users to avoid uncivilized behaviors committed by some of them carelessly and causing environmental damage.

    Police urged vehicle drivers to adhere to and alert their passengers to the need to take into account environmental safety and public health and to participate in promoting positive behaviors, explaining that this behavior may cause environmental pollution, stressing the importance of cooperation with the competent authorities in caring for health, safety and the environment.
