Abu Dhabi Police adopts plan to secure New Year’s Eve 2025 celebrations.

 AbuDhabi(News Desk)::Abu Dhabi Police has adopted a security plan to secure New Year’s Eve celebrations for the New Year 2025 in all areas of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, in cooperation with strategic partners, to ensure smooth traffic flow and reduce traffic congestion.

Major General Ahmed Saif bin Zaitoun Al Muhairi, Director of the Central Operations Sector, explained that the Abu Dhabi Police has prepared a joint security plan to secure tourist areas, shopping centres and traffic during the New Year celebrations, to ensure the security and safety of the public.

The Traffic and Security Patrols Directorate of the Central Operations Sector confirmed its readiness to enhance traffic safety by taking the necessary precautions and measures, and urged road users to pay attention and adhere to the traffic law and the specified speeds, and not to be distracted by the phone while driving, and to leave a sufficient safe distance between vehicles.

Police warned against uncivilized practices such as using party spray, reckless driving, and making noise. She called for adherence to the guidelines and advice that aim to provide protection and safety and prepare the atmosphere for the success of events and activities and achieve happiness for the public during the celebrations of welcoming the New Year, and reflecting an honorable image of the country.

The Command and Control Centre of the Operations Department in the Central Operations Sector has completed its preparations for the New Year and the New Year. Brigadier Nasser Sulaiman Al Maskari, Director of the Operations Department in the Central Operations Sector, stated that Abu Dhabi Police has provided the best equipment, technologies and qualified human cadres in the “Operations Room”, calling on members of the community not to hesitate to contact the Central Operations Room in case of emergency by calling 999 around the clock.
