Rome(News Desk):: Hotel D’Ingletra Rome – Starhotels Collezione announced its reopening today after a comprehensive renovation that has given it a new look while preserving its historical authenticity. The renovations included the exterior façade, rooms and suites, as well as the redesign of public areas, such as the famous Romano restaurant and café. Thanks to the ingenuity of Italian craftsmen, the hotel now combines rich heritage with modern luxury, offering guests a unique experience of comfort and luxury in the heart of Rome.
In addition to its recent renovations, the hotel stands out for its rich historical heritage, as it was originally established as a private guest house for guests of the nearby Palazzo Torlonia. Since its conversion into a hotel in the mid-19th century, it has become a favorite destination for the global elite. This is due to its exceptional location, just steps away from the famous Spanish Steps and the prestigious Via Condotti, as well as its elegance that combines heritage and luxury.
Now, after a comprehensive restoration of its historic façade, protected by the “Authority for the Protection of Historic and Artistic Assets”, the renovation of all rooms and suites and the “Caffe Romano” restaurant, in addition to the renovation of the comfortable salons that hosted artists, writers and travelers throughout the ages, the Hotel d’Ingletra is returning to its original glory, reinforcing its commitment to providing an exceptional and luxurious experience for its guests.
In celebration of the hotel’s exceptional heritage, the project was executed by the Starhotels team of designers under the supervision of Chairman and CEO Elisabetta Fabbri. This meticulous process included preserving historical architectural elements and restoring valuable antique furniture and fixtures. To enhance the hotel’s timeless elegance, the spaces have been redesigned, inspired by the magical atmosphere that captivated travelers during the era of grand voyages.
As part of Starhotels’ La Grande Bellezza – Factory of Dreams initiative to promote Italian craftsmanship, skilled Italian artisans have contributed to the restoration of the hotel. This collaboration has given the hotel a fresh and authentic feel, seamlessly integrating ‘Made in Italy’ design touches, reflecting Italian excellence in every corner.
The rooms and suites, which have been reduced from 84 to 80 to provide more space for luxurious design, feature a special atmosphere that allows our guests to experience comfort and distinction. Each room and suite has its own character and design, where carefully restored antique furniture is combined with contemporary pieces of high craftsmanship, to create an authentic character that reflects individuality and distinction in every corner of the hotel.
The famous Romano Restaurant and Café will be redesigned as a magnificent Roman lounge, providing the perfect setting for enhancing the experiences of communication and meeting between guests. The restaurant will also enable the launch of a renewed and innovative dining experience in the coming weeks. In addition, Hotel D’Ingletra will soon open a luxurious and intimate spa, designed to offer an exceptional relaxation experience in the heart of Rome, along with a private rooftop terrace that allows guests to enjoy a stunning view of the Eternal City.
