Awareness Workshop on Flexi Health Insurance
Abu Dhabi(News Desk):: The Pakistan Business Professional Council Abu Dhabi and the Abu Dhabi Chamber organized a seminar focusing on Flexi Health Insurance in collaboration with the Competitiveness Office of Abu Dhabi held on May 14, 2024, at the Abu Dhabi Chamber Tower.
The event were attended by diplomats, Representatives from Abu Dhabi Department of Health, Chairperson from Abu Dhabi Business Councils, healthcare professionals, and business community seeking innovative healthcare solutions tailored to their unique needs.
The seminar aimed to educate attendees on the benefits of Flexi Health Insurance, a dynamic healthcare coverage option that offers personalized plans and flexibility in choosing healthcare services.
Dr. Qaiser Anis, President of Pakistan Business Professional Council Abu Dhabi commended the Department of Health and Abu Dhabi Department of Economic Development for introducing the Flexi Health policy. This policy is to support the existing and incoming businesses for the cost of doing business in Abu Dhabi.
Ms. Ayesha Ali Al Balooshi, Head Section – Competitiveness Foundations Department, COAD, discussed the importance of adopting insurance plans to individual requirements ensuring comprehensive coverage while maintaining affordability.
The new flexi health insurance plan will further reduce the cost of doing the business in Abu Dhabi. This will furthermore help attract more companies to set up operations in the region. With its basic plan of AED 750 a year with a coverage limit to AED150,000, this could be upgraded for individually tailored needs.
Key topics during the seminar included the advantages of today's evolving healthcare landscape, identifying the important determinants, and the framework for improving Talent and livability in Abu Dhabi through the various programs and initiatives, and how individuals can make informed decisions to secure their health and well-beingeffectively. Awareness seminar like this, initiated by the Council, serves as a platform to convene, collaborate and continues working towards providing the benefits for the business community. Attendees actively engaged in discussions, sharing insights and experiences, and gaining valuable knowledge about flexi-health insurance.
