ADNEC Group’s Capital Events team participated at Egypt Defence Expo (EDEX) under the UAE Pavilion to promote UMEX SimTEX and ISNR as major upcoming events in Abu Dhabi for the defence, security and unmanned systems sectors
Abu Dhabi(Press Release):: ADNEC Group’s Capital Events team joined this week’s Third Edition of the Egypt Defence Expo (EDEX) in Cairo to promote the eagerly awaited UMEX SimTEX and the conference which accompanies them, and the International Exhibition for National Security and Resilience (ISNR), taking place in Abu Dhabi in January and May 2024 respectively.
EDEX Cairo is a defence and security show held on 4-7 December 2023 that covered Africa and the Middle East and presented a unique opportunity for attendees to witness the latest technology, equipment and systems deployable across land, sea, and air. The Capital Events team participated under the UAE pavilion at EDEX and informed potential exhibitors about the exciting range of globally-prominent defence, security and unmanned systems shows that are due to take place in Abu Dhabi over the coming months.
Held under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Hazza bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Ruler of Abu Dhabi, UMEX and SimTEX 2024 will take place at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre, with the conference scheduled for 22 January, and the exhibition from 23 to 25 January. The event offers an unmissable platform for industry leaders, innovators, and enthusiasts to engage with the most advanced technologies and share insights on key issues. With major international companies and experts expected to attend, UMEX and SimTEX will facilitate new business partnerships, nurture startups and accelerate the new technologies to help advance the unmanned systems sector.
ISNR Abu Dhabi 2024 will focus on ‘Accelerating Transformation in the National Security Landscape’. Scheduled for 21-23 May 2024, ISNR will once again serve as a driving force in shaping innovation in national security and cybersecurity. As the region’s most trusted platform in the defence and resilience sectors, the event will gather national and cyber security officials, buyers and supply chain stakeholders from the public and private sectors to seal business partnerships, enhance industry leadership and showcase innovative projects.
The ADNEC Group delegation at EDEX Cairo also presented the next edition of the International Defence Exhibition & Conference (IDEX), a biannual defence industry platform that will next take place in Abu Dhabi in February 2025 with significant global media coverage. As the world’s most important tri-service defence exhibition, IDEX gathers global leaders, decision makers, prime contractors, original equipment manufacturers and international delegations.
